Chemical Peel Instructions
BEFORE THE PEEL PROCEDURE
- Stop any prescribed skin creams a week prior to your peel.
- Avoid electrolysis, waxing, depilatory creams, and laser treatments one week prior to the peel.
- Stop any over-the-counter acne treatments a week before your peel.
AFTER THE PEEL CARE
- 1.   You may wash your face using gentle cleansers 4 hours after the peel.
- 2.   It is normal to experience redness 1-3 days following the peel.
- 3.   Clean your face with water and a mild cleanser twice daily.
- 4.   Apply a light moisturizer such as Vanicream frequently – ideally 4 to 5 times throughout the day.
- 5.   See our list of recommended moisturizers: Gentle Care
- 6.   48-72 hours post-peel, your skin may begin to exfoliate. Resist the temptation to pick or peel at your skin.
- 7.   Once all peeling has completely stoped, you may return to your regular skincare routine.
- 8.   Sun exposure should be avoided for a minimum of two weeks following the peel.
- 9.   Sunscreen application can be resumed after a period of two weeks post-procedure.
Sincerely,
